Customizing Import Templates

Patient data is imported into the Digital 360 Health platform from your electronic medical record (EMR) software. Before importing data, you will need to customize the Import Template, which tells the platform where to send the data it imports.

First, export from your EMR software as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. If you cannot export as a CSV, open the File in Excel first, then File> Save As a .csv file.

Customize Import Template Column Headings
  1. Go to Setup.
  2. Click Import Templates.
  3. Click Add Import Template.
  4. Choose from the available import templates:
    • Patients
    • Patient Diagnoses
    • Patient Prescription Drug Monitoring Program
    • Patient Primary Medical Provider Visit
    • Patient Medications
    • Patient Urine Drug Screening
  5. Click Add.
  6. Refer to the CSV file you exported and enter the column headings as needed or leave them empty for default; click Save.
Customize the General Schedule Import
  1. Go to Tools.
  2. Click General Schedule.
  3. Click the  icon.
  4. Refer to the CSV file you exported and enter the column headings as needed or leave them empty for default; click Save.
Flag Imported Medications as Controlled Substances

Creating Controlled Substance Aliases allows imported medication data to be automatically flagged as a controlled substance. These flags are then used throughout the platform, such as requiring patients to sign a controlled substance consent form.

  1. Go to Setup.
  2. Click Import Templates.
  3. Click Edit for Patient Medication Template.
  4. Click the Controlled Substance Aliases tab.
  5. Click Add Controlled Substance Aliases.
  6. Enter a medication name such as Oxycodone, Vicodin, Tramadol, etc.
  7. Click Add.

Upon import, the platform will flag medications that match these aliases regardless of the amount, delivery method, etc.

Surveys Based on Medication Changes

The Digital 360 Health platform can send surveys based on newly prescribed medications or changes in the amount prescribed during the Patient Medication Import process.
